Coffee Hour

Join us for Coffee Hour after the 9AM Sunday Mass! This is a great way to connect with friends or meet new ones within our parish family while enjoying coffee and a sweet treat. Simply walk back to the Community Room after Mass.

Thank you for considering a nominal donation to help defray the cost of the coffee and treats.

If you want to learn more about how you can help volunteer to organize the Coffee Hours, email Genevieve Ritch.

Support Ministries

Mens Fellowship

Men’s Fellowship

Join the men of the parish for prayer, conversation, and fellowship on Saturday Mornings, 6:30AM, in the St. Pius X Community Room. For more information, email Mark Drexel. We look forward to seeing you!

Military

You answered our country’s call to serve. Let your parish support you on your journey.

Whether you’re active, or a veteran, we want to hear from you. We’re working on activities for veterans and active service members to support each other as a parish and as brothers/sisters in arms.

For more information, email Russell Edgett, Afghanistan veteran, parishioner and founder of The Freedom Isn’t Free Ride or call him at 475-225-9694.

Prayer Shawl for Those in Need

Our prayer shawls are lovingly handmade creations, blessed by Fr. Sam. They bring healing to those in our community and patients in the Quiet Room at Bridgeport Hospital’s Oncology Department.

If you or anyone you know needs healing, you may request a St. Pius X Prayer Shawl.

If you love to knit or crochet, you can make a prayer shawl for those in need. We provide the yarn and you can work at your own pace at home.

For more information, email Kim Leon or call her at 203-255-6134.

Walking With Purpose

Calling on all women of the parish! Are you interested in getting together with a group of women to explore your faith? You don’t have much scripture knowledge, but you would like to see how the scriptures apply to your everyday life? If so, we invite you to consider joining WWP.

WWP is a Catholic Bible study for women that aims to bring women to a deeper personal relationship with Christ. Through personal study and small group discussions, the group helps to link our everyday challenges with solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church.

For more information on how to join WWP, email Dawn Carpanzano or Allyson Marcus or visit the WWP official Website at www.walkingwithpurpose.com.
