2023-2024 Elementary Faith Formation Registration

PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION ON THE ELEMENTARY FAITH FORMATION HOMEPAGE BEFORE COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION BELOW.

Registration for Grades 1-5 and Confirmation Preparation Cohort 2 will take place from June 1 – September 25, 2023. Registration for Confirmation Preparation Cohort 1 will take place June 1 – August 28, 2023.

All registrations must include a copy of your child’s Baptismal Certificate (unless the Baptism took place at St. Pius X) and record of any other Sacraments they have received.

If you are looking to register a student for Confirmation Preparation and they are entering Grade 8 or above in the fall, please DO NOT fill out this form and contact Shari Mellinger via email at sgarcia@st-pius.org.

Registrations are processed on a first come, first-served basis based on classroom availability. The following classes are currently full or nearing capacity:

CONFIRMATION PREPARATION Children Participating

Confirmation Preparation consists of a 14-week intensive preparation program and a monthly commitment to attending Edge throughout the school year. The 14-week program will meet Mondays ONLY from 4:30pm-5:30pm during the session you have chosen (Cohort 1 or Cohort 2). Edge meets every Wednesday from 6:30pm - 8:00pm, though each candidate for Confirmation is only required to attend one meeting per month from September - June. There is an additional $20 fee per child.

Elementary Faith Formation Parent Agreement (E-Signature Required)*
As a Catholic parent, I desire that my children know, love, and serve God. I acknowledge that at their Baptism I promised to be the primary witness to my child in the ways of the faith, and I recommit myself to fulfilling this most important obligation. To this end, I specifically commit to the following: I will attend Mass with my children every Sunday and on Holy Days of Obligation and pray with my children at home. I will attend the scheduled sessions for parents and make an effort to learn more about our Catholic faith. I will set an example of maturity and respect towards staff, catechists, classmates, and other families that that my children will follow. I will take an active role in my child’s Faith Formation by reviewing their weekly lessons and discussing the faith with them.

Tuition for Elementary Faith Formation is $250 per child, and the Confirmation fee is $20 per participating child. By submitting this form, you agree to pay the stated fees for your child(ren). If you have financial concerns, please contact our office at 203-259-4800.
