Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, With the resumption of public Masses come certain requirements that at first glance may feel or seem jarring to our normal experience. Some are easy to understand – for example, wearing masks, maintaining safe social distance, and not shaking hands – while some require further explanation. We use a database of emails that have either been on file with us since you registered as parishioners, or that you have provided to us through Flocknote. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, With the reopening of churches in the Diocese of Bridgeport this weekend, I find myself, for the first time, grateful that the great solemnity of Corpus Christi is transferred to Sunday. As you know, I prefer liturgical feasts to be celebrated on their proper days, and that the transferring of feasts seems silly in my mind. But not in this case.
